Other than needing a new DA subscription, I really need to get a new cage for my pet rats - so it's time for another commission sale. Why I haven't posted a journal earlier to fawn over them and post pictures yet, I'll never know. But they're both currently living in a glass tank the same size as my six mice - and they desperately need more room to play and climb. If you want to know more about them, proceed to the bottom of the journal. :>
Thank you so much everyone! It's been a while since I'm still working on commissions (if you're still waiting for yours, I haven't forgotten!), but I reached $200 last week! I'll be back on later with pics of my babies Loki and Jeana and the new cage you all helped me get for them! They love it so much~ They're such happy little ratsies. <3
That being said,
Since college is starting again next week, I really can't do this very long into classes. That leave ABOUT 10 slots, give or take. I'll post when I've reached the limit, but if you're curious how many have already commissioned, note me.
As always, I ask that you note me with your commissions, because it's much easier on me to organize. That, and it keeps things private.
-At this point, I'm usually going to price commissions separately. Note me and we'll negotiate, but here are the basics (not always set in stone):
I will be creating an animation that will be put on youtube, using this song, and plugging in all sorts of characters from a ton of series I like. I will also take requests for

(Okay, fawning time now)
Loki, affectionately named after one of the mice I had to return to the petstore a long while ago, is an adorable black-hooded 1 month old female. Since I got her two weeks ago, she's defiantly lived up to her name, ambushing Jeana (her cagemate), ambushing me, climbing into places I never thought she could, and generally being an adorable little prankster. She prefers to play and learn tricks, rather than cuddling.
Jeana is a sweet bareback-beige, about 7 months old. She was up for adoption at a local Petco and had been there for quite a while, all by herself in her cage. Honestly, the poor girl looked depressed - I cannot believe someone bought a pet rat without a cagemate. Most animals, but rats especially are very social and need a friend to occupy them while their owners are away. She was extremely jumpy and didn't like to be touched, so she wasn't a seemingly great pet, since most, if not all babies were playful and social. But after I got her home and sat by her cage a couple days, letting her get to know me, she absolutely cannot let me walk by the cage without me getting her out and cuddling her. She adores to be pet on her head and get scratches on her neck, as well as tickles on her belly - and many nights I get her out while Loki is snoozing and let her nap on my shoulder or lap, cuddled up under my chin or arm.
While Loki and Jeana are quite a bit different age-wise, they were both in cages by themselves for so long (Loki was the last of the litter and had been in a cage by herself for at least 4 days), they immediately bonded. I let them meet in the bathtub first just in case one of them felt the need to defend territory, but they stuck so close together and started bathing each other right away, so I put them in their cage after about 10 minutes. They didn't fight at all, and snuggled up together for a nap almost right away. Loki seems to annoy Jeana with her antics sometimes, but she puts up with it. Sometimes she gives Loki this 'look' like, "Hey, you're being a little too hyper. Calm down!" - which Loki usually takes to heart, but sometimes she just waits until Jeana turns back around to pounce at her back. They're such good buddies, it just warms my heart to watch them play together.
Also, they're both in the process of learning to play dead when I say "AVADA KADABRA". I know, it's awesome. I feel like a wizard.
This is what I'm planning on buying for them, but I may also get a nice big bird/parrot cage with thinly spaced wires if I can find one decently priced. As much as they love to climb in their cage and all over me, I really want to give them more room to climb on branches and hammocks and such.
